Get to Grips with Grammar
A non-technical approach to English grammar
Helen Wilkie originally designed Get to Grips with
Grammar for support staff, at the request of several clients, and this continues to be the
most usual audience for the program. However, it has also found an enthusiastic audience among managers and
professionals who have taken Effective Business Writing, Helen's
one-day writing workshop.
Rather than taking participants through complex rules of grammar (which would take much
too long in any case), this program teaches grammar usage through examples. It is upbeat and
lively, and participants report not only learning rules and guidelines they didn't know before, but also having fun
in the process!
