About Helen
Wilkie
Helen Wilkie is a professional keynote speaker, workshop
leader and author, based in Toronto, Canada. She is passionate
about communication. When she speaks, whether in a keynote,
conference workshop, or client in-house workshop, her audience
is captivated by that passion. She strongly believes that in
business, communication directly affects the bottom line, and
her mission is to help business people get their messages
across so that the effect will be positive.
Helen began her business, MHW
Communications, in 1990 as a corporate writer. In 1993 a
client asked her to teach his employees how to write "a decent
business letter", and that request resulted in her first
workshop, Effective Business Writing --
still a repeat favourite among her clients. From there she
branched out into speaking on other forms of communication,
such as presentation skills, meeting skills, networking,
communicating for success, persuasive communication and more.
Information about her other programs can be found on her main
website at MHW Communications.
